Infants
At Carstairs Childcare Centres, we try to work with families to ensure that the transition for your baby from home care to daycare is as smooth as possible. Before your child’s first day, we offer 1 or 2 trial days where either mother or father can bring their baby and spend a couple of hours in our infant room to get acclimatized and get an idea of what to expect. We try to create a schedule that is right for your child and every day a daily report (Baby Babbler) is sent home which has a summary of how your baby’s day went. The staff in the infant room or the childcare centre program supervisor will update you by email for the first couple of weeks.
